APPLICATIONS FOR TURKISH RESIDENCY CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITHIN ONE MONTH OF YOUR ARRIVAL IN TURKEY OR WITHIN THE LAST 15 DAYS OF YOUR VISA
NOTE: Your passport will be held by the Passport Police for at least 3 weeks.
What you will need to obtain your Residency (please bring to the office for your appointment):
- 8 passport photographs.
- A copy of your bank statement showing at least £4,000 pounds or £350 income each month, for each year you wish to take Residency. If you have English bank account we can translate for you.
- Your passport - our office will photocopy this for you
- Your tax number - if you don’t have one we will arrange this for you
- Tapu or rental agreement – again, we can photocopy for you
Note: You will only be able to obtain residency for the number of years remaining on your passport.
You will only need to complete a couple of forms and we will do the rest for you.
Clients living in outlying areas (ie, Ciftlik, Yaniklar, Uzumlu, Incirkoy, Ovacik, Hisaronu) must first visit their Muhtar (village manager) before your appointment with Tayfun, to obtain a Form 5 (ask for Konutta Kalanlara Ait Kimlik Bildirme Belgesi)
The Muhtar will require 2 passport photographs, a copy of your passport and a copy of your Tapu or Tenancy Agreement. He will complete the Form 5 attaching the copies and photos, and will then stamp the form and give to you.
How much it will cost? (Please note, there is no reduction for couples)
Residency charges:
- 1 year: 123 TL = £50 (approx)
- 2 years 214 TL = £87 (approx)
- 3 years 306 TL = £124 (approx)
- 4 years 400 TL = £162 (approx)
- 5 years 490 TL = £198 (approx)
Additional Charges:
Admin charge 100TL this is paid to our office at the start of the proceedings
